1) What are cookies and similar technologies?
- Cookies are small files placed on your browser or device that store information.
- Pixels/web beacons are small pieces of code that let us and our partners read/write information to measure usage and, in some cases, to support advertising.
- Local storage/SDKs are browser or app mechanisms to store identifiers and settings.
2) What information do these technologies collect?
3) Types of cookies we use (and why)
A. Strictly Necessary (cannot be switched off)

Examples of partners we may use: Google Analytics/Tag and similar analytics tools.
D. Advertising & Cross‑Context Analytics (“Ads & Analytics”)
Help us measure the effectiveness of our marketing and may be used to show or measure cross‑context (interest‑based) ads. Under some state laws (e.g., California), our use of these technologies may be deemed a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. See Section 5 to opt out.
Examples of partners we may use: Google Ads/Tag, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag.
E. Diagnostics/Session Replay (may be implemented)
If enabled in the future, tools that capture limited interactions (e.g., clicks, scrolls) solely to debug and improve the Site’s usability. We will update this Cookies Policy if we deploy them.
Scope note: These technologies may appear on any page, including the Score and the referral flow, to support measurement and Site operations.
4) How we use cookies with our online‑only services
- Operate and secure the Site so we can provide your automated Score and related emails without human intervention.
- Measure usage and performance to maintain an online‑only delivery model and to evidence web‑based delivery.
- Facilitate advertising and outreach about our Site (Ads & Analytics, Section 3D).
- Optional introductions: If you opt in to be referred, we share your referral details at your direction with Participating Advisers; this disclosure is not treated as a cookie‑based “sale/share.” See our Privacy Policy for details.
5) Your choices
B. Opt‑Out Preference Signals (e.g., GPC)
Where required by law, if your browser sends a recognized opt‑out preference signal (such as Global Privacy Control), we treat it as a valid opt‑out for that browser. (We recommend enabling the signal on each browser/device you use.)
C. Browser & device controls
You can block or delete cookies via your browser settings (usually under Privacy/Security). You may also reset mobile advertising identifiers in your device settings. If you block cookies, some features of the Site may not function.
D. Third‑party choices
Many ad/analytics providers offer their own opt‑outs. Please see their websites for details. Using these tools does not replace submitting our Site opt‑out in Section 5A.
Reminder: Your opt‑out is typically browser‑ and device‑specific. If you clear cookies, change browsers, or use a new device, you may need to repeat your choices.
E. Disabling cookies
If you do not agree to the use of these cookies, you may disable them by following the instructions for your browser described at http://www.allaboutcookies.org/manage-cookies/. If you would like to opt out of Google Analytics cookies, please do so at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
